It has good miscibility; it is easy to form a film, has good softness and elasticity; it is easy to twist and penetrate, and has good hairiness adhesion; Easy to be hydrophilic, with good affinity with cotton, polyester or other fibers; easy to desizing, the sizing of sized fabrics is easy to exit under the action of a small amount of oxidants in boiling water, and its biodegradation is fast and environmentally friendly. Low-viscosity partially hydrolyzed PVA is more compatible with hydrophobic fibers and is especially suitable for sizing cotton, polyester and high-count yarns.
