Les fibres de coton ont \u00e9t\u00e9 tremp\u00e9es et activ\u00e9es dans une solution de NaOH 18,5%, puis press\u00e9es et \u00e9cras\u00e9es et plac\u00e9es dans le r\u00e9acteur. Le r\u00e9acteur a \u00e9t\u00e9 mis sous vide, rempli d'azote \u00e0 deux reprises, l'OE a \u00e9t\u00e9 ajout\u00e9 et la r\u00e9action a \u00e9t\u00e9 obtenue \u00e0 un degr\u00e9 de vide de 90,64 kPa et \u00e0 une temp\u00e9rature de 27 \u00e0 32\u00b0C pendant 3 \u00e0 3,5 heures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">M\u00e9thode en phase liquide : La m\u00e9thode de la phase liquide consiste \u00e0 effectuer la r\u00e9action d'\u00e9th\u00e9rification en pr\u00e9sence d'un diluant. Apr\u00e8s alcalinisation et pressage, les linters de coton sont mis en r\u00e9action avec l'OE \u00e0 20-60\u00b0 C pendant 1-3 heures en pr\u00e9sence d'un diluant pour obtenir l'hydroxy\u00e9thylcellulose brute. Les diluants courants sont l'ac\u00e9tone, l'isopropanol, le tert-butanol ou leurs m\u00e9langes.
