  • One of the important uses of polyvinyl alcohol PVA1799 is to produce vinylon fiber. PVA1799 is also used in textile pulp and textile treatment agent to prevent fabric shrinkage and wrinkling. Polyvinyl alcohol will chemically crosslink with thermosetting resin, which can effectively avoid the reduction of the tear strength of fiber products due to surface treatment.

  • Biodegradable plastics represented by PLA and PBAT have begun to usher in an outbreak, and PVA has also quietly entered the ranks of alternatives to traditional plastics and developed various applications. If made into PVA film to replace traditional plastic film, it can be used in plastic bags, food packaging and other fields.

  • Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) is a colorless, non-toxic, non-corrosive, biodegradable water-soluble organic polymer. At present, in addition to being the raw material of vinylon, PVA is widely used in textile sizing, coatings, adhesives, emulsifiers, films and other industrial fields.

  • PVA polymer powder is especially suitable for use as a building mortar additive. It can be used together with the water-retaining agent of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose HPMC to improve cement.

  • PVA is unique among polymers (compounds composed of large, multi-unit molecules) because it is not formed by the polymerization of single-unit precursor molecules called monomers.

  • Textile size and fiber polyvinyl alcohol binder, with very good adhesion and film-forming properties, cheap and high quality, mainly used for pulping pure polyester or polyester-cotton yarn, and sometimes used for pulping high counts together with acrylic size of pure cotton yarn.
