O PVA \u00e9 usado principalmente como agente de colagem de superf\u00edcie de papel, aglutinante de pigmento e aditivo de m\u00e1quina de bater no setor de papel. Ele pode melhorar a resist\u00eancia \u00e0 abras\u00e3o, \u00e0 dobragem e ao rasgo do papel, al\u00e9m de melhorar o brilho, a suavidade e a adaptabilidade da impress\u00e3o. N\u00e3o apenas o agente de colagem de superf\u00edcie de papel de m\u00e9dia e baixa qualidade deve usar PVA, mas tamb\u00e9m papel de m\u00e9dia e alta qualidade, como papel para jato de tinta, papel t\u00e9rmico e papel para c\u00f3pia sem carbono.
