Generally, as the degree of polymerization of polyvinyl alcohol increases, the viscosity of the produced emulsion increases. Partial alcoholysis type polyvinyl alcohol (JOYFORCE PVA 1788) is used in combination with complete alcoholysis type polyvinyl alcohol (such as JOYFORCE PVA 1799, PVA 1999). Partial alcoholysis type polyvinyl alcohol can increase emulsion stability.
